Mr. Berenhaut also holds a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science degree from the
University of Manitoba. He also attended and was granted full athletic (soccer)
scholarships to The George Washington University and to Drake University (NCAA Division
1). He has experience training professional hockey and football players, and is
currently training many amateur, NCAA, Olympic and professional soccer, hockey,
baseball, and basketball players in the Toronto area. Mr. Berenhaut also works with
Bryst International Soccer Academy as the Goalkeeper and Speed Development Coach
and was Co-Captain of the Canadian Maccabi Games Soccer Team competing in Israel
in July, 2005. In addition he was also a part of the U-20 Canadian National team
that won CONCACAF in 1996.

Dr. Spina holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University. He later graduated with summa cum Laude and clinic honors from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic and subsequently completed the two-year post-graduate fellowship in sports sciencesM. Following his graduation Dr. Spina created, and became the head instructor of the Functional Anatomy Seminar series which are a popular educational seminar series offered at to Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Medical Doctors, Massage therapists, etc. He has also authored chapters in sports medicine textbooks, is a published researcher, and international speaker. Although he is very experienced in treating professional, Olympic, and amateur athletes of various sports disciplines, Dr. Spina takes special interest in the management of athletes from combat sports as he is an experienced mixed martial artist himself with over 21 years experience.

Dr. Howitt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Physical Education from the University
of Western Ontario. He later graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic and subsequently from the two-year post-graduate residency
in sports sciences and the three-year post-graduate fellowship in Rehabilitative
Sciences. Dr. Howitt has traveled throughout the world with National and Provincial
teams and has worked with professional and elite amateur triathletes, marathoners,
cyclists, alpine skiers, bobsled / skeleton, rugby, soccer and hockey players. He
is also a regular lecturer for the continuing education programs at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Can-Fit Pro conferences and IDEA Health and Fitness conventions.
Dr. Jason Su

After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Dr. Su went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine (MD) status and furthermore, a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine (CASM). Jason has worked with a variety of elite amateur, Olympic, and professional athletes. He was the Physician for Pre-participation exams and fitness testing for: the NHL Draft Pick (1999), Toronto Raptors (1999), Toronto Maple Leafs (1998), and St. Mikes Minor Hockey (1998). He is the Club Physician for Cabbagetown Boxing as well as a Ring-Side Physician for Boxing Ontario and the Canadian Amateur Boxing Association (CABA). In addition, Jason is the team Physician for the National Kickboxing Academy, and also acted as team Physician with Basketball Canada Junior Team at the Pan-American Tournament Series (2002) and the WTA 1999 Du Maurier Open, to name a few.

Dr. Chivers holds a Honours Bachelor of Physical Education from Brock University. Upon graduation he entered the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he graduated with cum laude and clinical honours. He has just recently completed a two year post graduate fellowship program in Chiropractic Sports Sciences. Dr. Chivers has traveled throughout Canada as the team doctor for a variety of elite amateur and professional soccer clubs. He has also worked with national and provincial martial artists, elite triathletes and golfers. As the team doctor for Team Ontario Baseball, he has a special interest in working with and developing elite amateur pitchers in helping them get to the next level. Dr. Chivers also has published papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.
Paul Shin

Paul holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, a Master of Science degree and a Certificate in a Collaborative Program in Neuroscience, all from the University of Toronto. He has attained CAFCI certification at the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and is certified in the Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) needling technique. He has also completed his Intermediate Certificate of Manual & Manipulative Therapy is currently working towards his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy.
Paul has experience working with both the weekend warrior and elite athlete alike. He uses a variety of techniques including spinal mobilization, spinal stabilization exercises, neural tissue mobilization, postural taping, myofascial release, acupuncture and IMS to help his clients reach their full potential. Paul is an avid athlete himself and plays 6-man/9-man volleyball and hockey all year round. His proudest accomplishment to date is helping his new baby girl explore her new world.

A graduate and Masters Degree candidate from the University of British Columbia's School of Human Kinetics, Nicole had the opportunity to work with athletes and individuals of all ages and skill levels before completing her Masters degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University (2008). Nicole brings a strong background in athletic training, injury prevention, research, and a passion for health promotion. Also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), Nicole enjoys integrating alternative practices such as acupuncture with manual therapy, therapeutic taping, exercise, and high performance training. A huge fan and advocate of yoga, pilates, and strength training as well as a successful multi-sport athlete and leader Nicole can relate to all aspects of health and wellness. Her uncanny knowledge of professional sports and random facts makes for good conversations, and her positive attitude and commitment to enriching the lives of other keeps her grounded and eager to learn from all that surround her.

Dr. Brown graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1998, where he received
a Bachelor's degree in Physiology and Psychology. He then went on to complete his
training to become a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. In addition to the specialty
areas of Naturopathic Medicine, which include Botanical Medicine, Traditional Chinese
Medicine (Acupuncture), Nutrition, Homeopathy, Physical Medicine and Manipulation,
Hydrotherapy and Counseling, he is also currently a certified Craniosacral Practitioner
and is trained in somatoemotional release and visceral manipulation through the
Upledger Foundation in Florida. Dr. Brown also completed clinical training in Mind/Body
Medicine at the Mind/Body Medical Institute of the Harvard Medical School in 2002.
As a six time Canadian Windsurfing Champion, he was a member of the Canadian Sailing
Team, traveling and competing around the world in the 1990's. In 1996 he received
a bronze medal at the Canadian Olympic Team Trials, and attended the Olympics in
Atlanta.
Dr. Kevin Sims

Dr. Sims holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. He later graduated Magna Cum Laude with clinic honors from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is currently enrolled in a two-year postgraduate sport sciences residency program at CMCC. His research interest surrounds the role of sport chiropractic in improving athletic performance. He is currently the team doctor of the Vaughan Italia Shooters in the Canadian Soccer League and has been a medical service provider for provincial-level soccer and taekwondo. In addition, Dr. Sims is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, an Active Release Provider, and a Contemporary Medical Acupuncturist.
Mr. Rolland Heider

After competing in Rugby at Wilfrid Laurier University and rowing competitively at both Laurentian University and the University of Victoria, Rolland pursued a professional career in Massage Therapy. Working as a Registered Massage Therapist, Rolland has garnered clients including national track and field team members, national team rowers, top tri-sport athletes, top rock climbers, top golf professionals, NCAA and professional basketball, CIS football, and national level gymnasts, as well as a host of amateur sports participants. He has also worked at a variety of events such as the Canadian National Track and Field Championships, OFSAA Basketball Championships, the Canadian Masters Tennis Tournament, and the Canadian Senior Men’s Soccer Championships. Currently, Rolland is one of the Registered Massage therapists for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Nik Komarov holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from York University as well as a certificate in Athletic Therapy. He has recently completed the certification examination through the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association (CATA) and will be attending McMaster University in the fall to pursue a Masters degree in Physiotherapy. Nik has extensive experience working with high-school and university sports at the OUA and CIS level, including two years with the York University Lions varsity teams as well as a year as a head therapist of the University of Toronto varsity soccer and hockey teams. In addition to his time in orthopedics, he has spent a year volunteering with Toronto Rehab where he had an opportunity to work with patients recovering from neurological impairments following stroke and spinal cord injury.

Sean has experience working with athletes from the Markham Rep Baseball organization, lacrosse teams and high school track and field athletes in the GTA. Sean has a wealth of experience as personal trainer and Fitness Consultant working with the City of Vaughan, where he specializes in goal setting and motivational strategies to help individuals meet their individual goals.
As a competitive baseball player Sean played with the Ontario Maple Leafs Elite baseball team, as well as with the George Brown Huskies baseball/volleyball teams. His experience as a high performance athlete gives him insight to better understand the mental and physical standards and requirements needed to excel at the elite levels.

An athlete himself, Chris has been training in the sport of karate for 16 years. He has been an active member of the Canadian National Karate team as both a junior and senior heavyweight athlete since 2004. Competing all around the world, he has attained multiple achievements including becoming the 6 time National Karate Canadian champion, North American Champion, US Open Champion, 2 time junior Pan American Champion, former team captain of Jr. National Karate team, and 5th place finisher at the Jr World Championships.

Catherine graduated with honours from the University of Guelph where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics, and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Health Science degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. She is currently in her third year of studies for a Doctor of Osteopathy certificate with the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Her professional experience includes working as a regular therapist on the World Cup circuit with the Canadian trampoline & power tumbling team, she is head therapist for HSBC MultiSport Canada triathlon series, and part of the core medical team with The Radio City Rockettes in 2006. When not in clinic Catherine is also on faculty at Seneca College teaching in the Fitness & Wellness program. Catherine began with SPC in November 2005 working as an athletic therapist and strength & conditioning coach, and hopes to practice as an osteopath after successfully defending her thesis in 2012.

Dr. Lee is currently a resident in a post-graduate sports sciences fellowship program, and his research interests are centered around kinetic chain dysfunction in runners. Dr. Freeman holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic, where she was awarded the Professor Vladimir Janda Scholarship Award for her accomplishments in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Her continued aspirations have led her to pursue a Masters of Science/Doctor of Philosophy degree in Injury & Sports Biomechanics at the University of Waterloo concurrently with a post-graduate sports sciences fellowship program through the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences.
A scholar and published researcher, Dr. Freeman also has extensive clinical experience integrating core rehabilitation into injury prevention and sports-specific training programs and has worked as a consultant for individual athletes from the recreational to professional level, in sports such as football, hockey and Olympic lifting. However, her key interests stem from her personal experiences competing nationally and internationally in track & field and gymnastics.

Dr. Perri graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Specialized Honours Kinesiology degree from York University in 2005. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2009 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Currently, Dr. Perri is completing a post-graduate fellowship in sports sciences and masters of science degree specializing in sports and rehabilitation. Dr. Perri is part of the core medical team for Cricket Canada and is a published author in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association. Current research interests include the biomechanics and anatomy of injuries in overhead athletes and the relationship between injury and performance in taekwondo athletes.

Jacqueline Hall attended Michigan State University on a full athletic scholarship where she played fastball, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, graduating with high honours. She is a certified personal trainer (American Council on Exercise) and has over 5 years of experience personal training individuals of all levels. She has been a fast pitch pitching/hitting/skills instructor for over nine years and presently plays flag/touch football competitively.

Mark Di Giulio attended the University of Western Ontario where he graduated with an honours specialization in Kinesiology. He has been involved in competitive sport his whole life first competing in high level baseball right up through university where he played 4 years with the Mustangs, and

Gurminder was granted a NCAA Division 1 athletic scholarship in the sport of Football. During his 4 years of college football at the University of South Carolina, under legendary coaches Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier, Gurminder earned a Bachelor of Science as a successful student-athlete.
Gurminder served as a graduate assistant intern as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the University of South Carolina. His workout regimens include a focus on strength training, speed development, conditioning, agility training and flexibility. His experience training athletes includes a variety of sports; such as, Football, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball and Rugby, all at the NCAA Division 1 level. His success and experience includes NFL players such as, Sidney Rice of the Minnesota Vikings (drafted in the 2nd round), Jasper Brinkley of the Minnesota Vikings (5th round) and Jared Cook of the Tennessee Titans (3rd round). Gurminder is a professional football player with the Montreal Allouettes, who selected him in the 2007 CFL draft.

Laura Graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science specializing in Kinesiology. She later attended The Canadian Therapeutic College for Massage Therapy, and became a member of the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario; and has completed courses in Hot Stone Therapy (Level 1 and 2). She currently competes in Sprint Distance Triathlons and has competed in the world triathlon championships in 2008 in Vancouver placing 4th. Laura will also be competing in the 2009 World Championships in Australia, with hopes of getting on the podium. After completing an undergrad at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University, Michelle went on to graduate from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, holding the designation of a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. She has also completed a lifestyle therapy program receiving her certification as a First Line Therapist. Within her practice, Michelle employs body composition testing to help develop sports specific nutrition for a range of athletes. Individually tailored dietary and lifestyle programs are also developed to help assess and correct nutritional imbalances, prevent or manage chronic illness, including cardiovascular disease, obesity, blood sugar imbalances and diabetes.
